Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro wears a USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) cover, gifted by Capt. Paul Lanzilotta, Ford's commanding officer, during a ship visit, March 10, 2022 in support of the centennial of Navy Aircraft Carriers. While onboard Del Toro conducted an all-hands call with the crew to congratulate them on their success during the ship’s planned incremental availability, and met the Ford’s leadership to discuss Ford-class unique capabilities ahead of the ship’s 2022 deployment.
