BEAUFORT SEA, Arctic Circle (March 5, 2022) – Cmdr. Daniel McNab, commanding officer of the Virginia-class fast attack submarine USS Illinois (SSN 786), waves as Illinois moves through Arctic sea ice during Ice Exercise (ICEX) 2022.
