Explosive ordnance disposal technicians with the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Royal Netherlands Air Force, and Royal Australian Air Force conduct rapid explosive hazard mitigation (REHM) training after a simulated airfield attack during Cope North 2022 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 17, 2022. The training, hosted by the U.S. Air Forces 554th Red Horse Squadron, focuses on the rapid clearing of unexploded ordnance in response to an airfield attack allowing for safe airfield repair and continued operations.
