A Delaware Air National Guard C-130 prepares to transport a U.S. Air Force critical care air transport team (CCATT) from Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson to Nome, Alaska during Arctic Eagle-Patriot 22, March 3, 2022. Joint Exercise Arctic Eagle-Patriot 2022 increases the National Guard’s capacity to operate in austere, extreme cold-weather environments across Alaska and the Arctic Region. AEP22 enhances the ability of military and civilian inter-agency partners to accomplish emergency response and homeland security missions in and around the Arctic.
