New York City Police Department Counterterrorism’s K-9 unit recently conducted training at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton. K-9 Gunner is named after Detective William T. Gunn who was shot and killed while investigating a homicide. The partnership with the NYPD expands Fort Hamilton’s operational readiness and helps to keep our community safe.
