U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Tristan McDonald and U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Patrick Bess, aerospace propulsion technician,s assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, inspect the engine of an F-16 Fighting Falcon at the 180FW in Swanton, Ohio, Feb. 17, 2022. The 180FW Propulsion Element was the first to implement a Pratt and Whitney 229 and 220 engine contract field team, providing war-ready engines to Combatant Commanders, in support of the Air Force and Air National Guard.
