John Dilks, 177th Maintenance Group engine mechanic, repairs an engine while the Air National Guard's first Production Assessment Team visits Feb. 22, 2022, at the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The Production Assessment Team's goal is to increase the number of aircraft a unit can bring to the fight, focusing on the aspects of aircraft availability that units can control - how well and how quickly they repair aircraft and how smoothly they perform scheduled maintenance.
