NORTH SEA (Feb. 12, 2022) – USNS Sisler (T-AKR 311) transits the North Sea, en route to Hammernesodden, Norway, to participate in Exercise Cold Response 22. The Norwegian-led exercise enhances interoperability among II Marine Expeditionary Force and participating NATO allies’ and partners’ militaries. As part of Maritime Prepositioning Ships Squadron 2, Sisler strategically places containerized and palletized cargo throughout the globe for all U.S. Armed Services, including the U.S. Marine Corps.
