U.S. Army Reserve Lt. Col. Dena Goble, deputy commander for Task Force McCoy, is congratulated for an award by Rep. Ron Kind, at the Operation Allies Welcome end of mission ceremony on Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Feb. 15, 2022. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan guests at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
