Lt. Col. Katie Gauvin assumed command of the 104th Force Support Squadron in a ceremony held at Barnes Air National Guard base on Feb. 5, 2022. The 104FSS welcomed their new commander to the family. Prior to taking command of the 104FSS Gauvin was the deputy commander of the 104FSS and the Officer In Charge of the Sustainment Flight. In attendance at the ceremony were her husband Senior Master Sgt. Marc Guavin, the Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent of the 104th Logistics Readiness Squadron, her daughter Airman 1st Class Julie Gauvin, a Logistics Planner in the 104LRS, and her brother Chief Master Sgt. Matthew Hoaglund, Superintendent of Services at Westover Air Reserve Base, as well as other family members and senior leadership form the 104th Fighter Wing and Massachusetts Joint Force Headquarters.
