    Sen. Mitch McConnell visited local officials in the Graves County Emergency Operations Center Jan. 27 to discuss the ongoing recovery efforts in Graves County and the City of Mayfield. While there, Sen. McConnell hosted a press conference to provide an update on federal assistance. George Minges (left), Louisville District Emergency Management Chief, and Mitch Roberts, Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (right) greet Sen. McConnell prior to a meeting with local officials and agencies involved in the recovery.
    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District is working under the direction of FEMA, in support of the state and local government, to perform right-of-way debris removal in Graves County.
