Samantha Simonton competes at the 2022 USA Shooting Winter Selection Match in Tucson, Arizona January 11-15. The Gainesville, Georgia resident won the Gold Medal and a position on the National Skeet Team at the conclusion of the four-day competition. Ten days later, Simonton shipped off to U.S. Army Basic Combat Training. After completion of her initial training, she will report to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning, Georgia.
