ALBUQUERQUE, Nm-- U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Alison Fleer, an Emergency Department nurse assigned to the Naval Medical Center San Diego, California, takes a patient’s temperature during an exam at the University of New Mexico Hospital, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jan. 24, 2022. Thorough exams help the nurses diagnose exactly what is wrong with each patient. The Navy Sailors are a part of a medical response team that is deployed in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need.
