Airman 1st Class Austin Bollinger, a hydraulics systems apprentice with the 127th Wing Maintenance Squadron, replace the rudder actuator on the A-10 Thunderbolt on Jan. 8, 2022, at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Bollinger is a traditional guardsman who serves once a month with his unit. When He sees an A-10 Thunderbolt II take-off, he is fulfilled in his work, knowing his efforts are a part of the mission to fly, fight and win.
