LOPBURI, Thailand – 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets serving as part of the Special Forces Rotational Element-Thailand are “patched in” by soldiers with the 1st Special Forces Regiment (1SFR) of the Royal Thai Army after completing a 44-kilometer ruck march across Lopburi Province, Dec. 28, 2021. Following the ruck march, new members of the 1st Special Forces Regiment and the two members from the Special Forces Rotational Element-Thailand were formally recognized by receiving the 1SFR patch on their shoulders.
