Truman (CVN 75), the Royal Norwegian Navy frigate HNoMS Fridtjof Nansen (F310), the Hellenic Navy frigate HS Elli (F 450), and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) and USS Gravely (DDG 107) transit the Mediterranean Sea in formation, Jan. 5, 2022. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security, and defend U.S., allied and partner interests in Europe and Africa.
