MAYPORT, Fla. – (Jan. 5, 2022) – Peruvian Navy Cmdr. Manuel Nino de Guzman presents the Peruvian Navy’s Meritorious Honor Award to Rear Adm. Jim Aiken, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, for the U.S. Navy’s participation and contribution in support of the Peruvian Navy’s bicentennial events held in October 2021. Peru’s bicentennial was a historical milestone, commemorating 200 years of the country’s independence and the birth of their navy.
