A workplace safety warning poster titled 'Avoid The Void' featuring an illustrated skeleton emerging from a toxic green gas cloud against a dark background with yellow and black hazard chevrons. The poster warns workers about the dangers of entering confined spaces or voids without proper authorization. It instructs personnel to contact a Gas-Free Engineer before entering any voids or confined spaces.

This poster was created using vector-based graphics and techniques in Adobe Illustrator. The intent of the message is to provide awareness of the dangers of voids and confined spaces to personnel on U.S Navy ships. It was displayed on the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), in April 2021. The John C. Stennis is in Newport News Shipyard working alongside NNS, NAVSEA and contractor conducting Refuelling and Complex Overhaul as part of the mission to deliver the warship back in the fight, on time and on budget, to resume its duty of defending the United States.
