    U.S. Army Maj. Melinda F. Moyer, D.N.P., Director of Clinical Programs, New Jersey National Guard Joint Surgeons Office, Joint Force Headquarters-Army, has her photo taken with the Army Nurse Corps Association (ANCA) 2021 Military Nursing Evidence-Based Practice Award at the Homeland Security Center of Excellence, Lawrenceville, N.J., Dec. 8, 2021. Moyer received the award for her work in fighting COVID-19 by collaborating with Yale University on the study “Medical surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 infections among military personnel”. This is the first time an Army National Guard Soldier has received this annual award, which is presented for contributions to military nursing knowledge and practice.
