VP-46 has recently returned from a maiden P-8A deployment to the U.S. Fifth and Sixth Fleet area of responsibility (AOR) and is currently supporting Home Land Defense operations out of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii as part of Commander, Task Force 32, while also completing an Inter-Deployment Readiness Cycle in preparation for their return to the U.S. Sixth Fleet (AOR).
