Spc. Cody Rouse, hailing from Beaumont, Texas, is an unmanned aircraft systems repairer and is assigned to the 1st Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, currently deployed to Bulgaria to assist Area Support Group Black Sea. He is a technical inspector here at Novo Selo Training Area, performing maintenance on unmanned aerial vehicles.
“We maintain these birds to get them better for the operators, which perform reconnaissance for our fighting forces and allies,” Rouse said.
His leaders praise him as a high performer and a true subject matter expert when it comes to his tasks.
