Soldiers from the Alpha Detachment, 9th Financial Management Support Unit, 1st Special Troops Battalion,1st Sustainment Brigade, returned home on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, after supporting Operation Spartan Shield in Kuwait for nine months. During their rotation, the 23 FMSU Soldiers provided critical financial management support to American forces in Qatar and closed financial operations in Afghanistan.
