SAN DIEGO (Nov. 5, 2021) A California Highway Patrol motor officer (center) speaks with Sailors assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego before a command motorcycle ride at the hospital Nov. 5. The purpose of the ride was to provide motorcycle mentorship to Sailors that encourages safety and positive morale while operating motorcycles that aligns with the Navy core values of honor, courage and commitment. NMRTC San Diego's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMRTC San Diego employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
