Service members from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and Naval Postgraduate School took the three-part basic fitness test for the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency at the Presidio of Monterey, Monterey, Calif., Sept. 24, 2021. During the test, service members completed a sprint test, a flexed-arm-hang test and a 1,000-meter run.
