    Staff Sgt. Matthew Ling, 142nd Communications Flight, Portland Air National Guard Base, Ore., conducts a routine security patrol at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in support of Joint Task Force-Reassurance. Many of the hospitals augmented by Task Force-Metro reported a decrease in garage vandalisms, which was attributed to the Guardsmen acting as a deterrent to would-be vandals.
