A U.S. Navy MH-60S, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 28, provides aerial oversight during a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure exercise part of Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (AMX), Dec. 4, 2021. Amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), the flagship for the 22nd MEU and Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) Six, is underway for AMX in preparation for a future deployment. AMX is the second at-sea period in the MEU's Predeployment Training Program; it aims to test the capabilities of the ARG/MEU team in a realistic paced threat environment.
