Jennifer Vargas, an emergency room nurse assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado, practices her restraint techniques on a practice dummy at a Spectrum Health education facility on Dec. 3, 2021. Refreshing their skills before applying them to patients helps soldiers integrate into the hospitals.
