The Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program of Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife has utilized a portion of south post range at Fort Devens for years during hunting season as part of their mentoring program. The program offers shooting skills workshops, hunting seminars, and other classes and activities designed for adult women. Seventeen women participated in the deer hunt this year, and two women were able to take their first deer.
