    Lt. Col. David F. Roman, commander 1-3rd Attack Battalion (Vipers), and Chief Warrant Officer 4 David Lorman, battalion standardization pilot, exit an AH-64D Attack Helicopter upon arrival in Hohenfels, Germany at JMRC (Joint Mission Readiness Center), Dec. 1, 2021. The Vipers are at the training center positioned as a Multi-Function Aviation Task Force (MFATF) forward to support maneuver brigades during CbRXVI. The event is designed to evaluate and assess the unit's ability to operate in a complex, multi-domain simulated battlespace.
