PORT OF DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (Nov. 30, 2021) – U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG-112) load supplies during for a sustainment and logistics visit supported by Camp Lemonnier’s supply department at the Port of Djibouti. Michael Murphy is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and the strategic choke points.
