U.S. Air Force firefighters assigned to the 612th Air Base Squadron, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, team with a Central American partner nation firefighter during Exercise CENTAM Smoke 21-2 to extinguish a simulated fuel fire. This weeklong exercise allows for the strengthening of partnerships and sharing of operational knowledge amongst professional fire departments from nations throughout Central America.
