Sgt. Maj. Jeovannie Melendez works with Sgt. Philip G. Ong and Sgt. Austin L. Coffey on a Simple Key Loader at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, on Nov. 23, 2021. Melendez and his signal support systems specialists, assigned to the Fort Bragg, N.C., based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, worked in preparation for upcoming training exercise moving the Sustainment Operations Center for 1st Theater Sustainment Command’s operational command post to a new location on camp. The SKL is a hand-held device that Soldiers use to load cryptographic keys onto their communications equipment.
