A U.S. Sailor assigned to Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 213, Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia, conducts a post-flight inspection of an F/A-18 Super Hornet cockpit at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Nov. 10, 2021. VFA-213 participated in Checkered Flag 22-1, a large-force aerial exercise held at Tyndall that fosters readiness and interoperability through the incorporation of fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft during air-to-air combat training.
