Cpl. Emma Wise is a Aviation Radar Technician with Marine Air Control Squadron 1. Her job is to maintain and operate the Ground Air Task Oriented Radar system. she provides radar pictures to other tactical data systems in order to monitor and defend the airspace.
Cpl. Wise joined the Marines to take the road less traveled, she wanted to do something out of the norm. "In my eyes, the Marine Corps was an opportunity to get out of my hometown and do something completely different than anybody else I grew up with" Cpl. Wise said. she is motivated by her family and her best friend Sophie!
