SAPPORO, Japan – Maj. Gen. JB Vowell, U.S. Army Japan's commanding general, visited the 在札幌米国総領事館 U.S. Consulate General Sapporo and met with Consul General Andrew Lee, Nov. 16, to discuss opportunities to strengthen the U.S.-Japan alliance and security cooperation in Northern Japan. This was Vowell's first visit to Hokkaido since assuming command of USARJ back in June.
