ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Oct. 4, 2021) Sailors from Naval District Washington’s Ceremonial Guard place the urn of retired Vice Adm. Edward Carson Waller III in the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel. The Naval Academy honored Waller’s life with a funeral and committal service with military honors. Waller, who served as the Naval Academy’s 50th superintendent, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021, in Annapolis, Maryland. (U.S. Navy photo by Stacy Godfrey/Released)
