NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. (Nov. 09, 2021) Sailors assigned to the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship (PCU) Minneapolis-Saint Paul (LCS 21) train using computer-generated simulations during Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) scenarios at Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) Detachment Southeast, LCS Training Facility, on Nov. 09, 2021. All Sailors and officers assigned to an LCS train in watch stations using virtual reality technology, and are required to demonstrate proficiency in their respective watch stations before manning live, shipboard watches.
