Col. Catherine Barrington, 90th Missile Wing commander, and Keith Hay, director of policy at the Colorado energy office, talk about the nuclear deterrence mission in Colorado, Nov. 5, 2021. Aviators from the 37th Helicopter Squadron, based out of F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, flew members of the Colorado state legislature over numerous launch facility sites to show them how they securely and safely operate around the missile complex.
