Airman 1st Class Kamal Banks, 7th Operational Medical Squadron mental health technician, is coined by Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass as she visited Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Nov. 4, 2021. Banks has led a short notice tasker that equipped 280 Airmen for rapid deployment in less than 72 hours by administering the Automated Neuropsychological Assessment Metric. “It was awesome being coined by Chief Bass, especially within my first year in the Air Force,” Banks said. “It was an unexpected once in a lifetime experience to be recognized by her.
