ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 26, 2021) The polar icebreaker USCGC Healy (WAGB 20) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missle destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) conduct a passing exercise. Healy's deployment demonstrates the U.S. commitment to ensuring a safe and secure Arctic as teh cutter crew is deployed for four and a half months to conduct operational ice testing, strengthen relationships with partner nations, project U.S. presence, and protect U.S. sovereignty rights.
