Idaho Army National Guard soldiers competing for the 2021 Best Warrior title gear up for the eight mile ruck march.
Idaho Army National Guard soldiers completed the 2021 Best Warrior Competition this past week. Soldiers competed in an eight mile ruck march, writtten essay and weapons skill testing, Idividual weapons qualifications, uniform inspection and land navigation exercise. The NCO winner from the HHC 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion was Staff Sgt. Austin Clark along with Spc. Camren Weeks from HHC 1-183rd AVN claiming the soldier category competition. Runners up were Sgt. Anthony Peterson from B Company of the 145th Brigade Support Battalion and Pfc. Mitchel Haber from the HHC 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion.
