Lt. Col. Loren “Nike” Coulter, 51st Operations Group deputy commander, boards an A-10 Thunderbolt II at Seoul Air Base, Oct. 24, 2021. Coulter flew the aircraft back to Osan Air Base, which was a flight made by his grandfather, Robert Coulter, back during the Korean War as a United States Marine Corps med-evac pilot from 1952-1953. The A-10 was used as a static display during the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition to educate the public on the aircraft and its capabilities.
