U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) grapple during a groundfighting spar at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 1, 2021. The Martial Arts Instructor Course is designed to teach Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) principles and combat conditioning to prepare Marines as MCMAP instructors.
