U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG), Marine Forces Cyberspace Command (MARFORCYBER), stand in formation during the Network Activity Reserve (NetAct-Res) Activation Ceremony at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Nov. 1, 2021. NetAct-Res will conduct Department of Defense Information Network Operations (DODIN) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) in general support of Marine Forces Reserve’s area of responsibilities in order to enhance freedom of action across warfighting domains, while denying the efforts of adversaries to degrade or disrupt this advantage through cyberspace.
