EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 27, 2021) Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Shawn McDew, from Canton, Ohio, mans the propulsion and auxiliary control console in the central control station aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105). Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
