CARIBBEAN SEA - (Oct. 24, 2021) – The Dominican Republic Navy coastal patrol vessel Canopus (CG 107), the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings’ (LCS 15) rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB), and a Dominican Republic Coast Guard small boat conduct an intercept drill during a maritime operations exercise, Oct. 24, 2021. Billings is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
