211019-M-PO848-1215 JAZIRAT AL GHURAB ISLAND, Saudi Arabia (Oct. 19, 2021) Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and members of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces stage in a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter during exercise Indigo Defender 21 at Jazirat al Ghurab Island, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 19. Indigo Defender 21 is a capstone bilateral maritime exercise between Royal Saudi Naval Forces Western Fleet and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command to enhance interoperability and strengthen our capacity to maintain regional maritime security and stability.
