Robert "Barr" Kimnach III, commanding officer, Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) reenlists Sr. Chief Petty Officer Phillip Pickle, command senior enlisted advisor, NBVC onboard Point Mugu, Oct. 13, 2021. NBVC is a multi-dominant mission facility composed of three fleet centers, Point Mugu, Port Hueneme, and San Nicolas Island. NBVC operates the world's largest instrumented sea range and is home to the Pacific Seabees, Westcoast Hawkeyes, 3 warfare centers and the Ghost Fleet: unmanned sea and air warfighting systems.
