U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. William Richards, a fire support Marine with 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, establishes communications for close-air support (CAS) during a fire support coordination exercise (FSCEX) aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 4, 2021. FSCEX equips Marines with the ability to facilitate artillery and close-air support.
