210917-N-LP924-1277 STRAIT OF HORMUZ (Sept. 17, 2021) An MH-60R Seahawk, assigned to the “Easyriders” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 37, provides air-support during a strait transit through the Strait of Hormuz, Sept. 17. HSM 37 is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
